We know that old rumors were saying iPhone 5 would definitely be released in June, (at WWDC 2011), however things seem so different. Now, iPhone 5 is expected to be released later in this year.
According to a report by Reuters, iPhone 5 is going to have a better processor (we know it is going to be the A5 chip), and is going to start shipping in September. The report also states that there is not a significant change in the outside design. So iPhone 4 and iPhone 5 will look similar.
On the other hand Business Insider claims that Avian securities said, Apple will be just started iPhone 5 production in September. (which seems more realistic and credible than Reuters report), Also there is going to be a cheaper and lower spec iPhone, and Apple is now working on that.
Another report, which is from infosyncworld.com, iPhone 5 will have A5 chip, solved antenna issue (a better antenna design), 8 mega-pixel camera, two models GSM and CDMA, and these models will include a Qualcomm baseband, also it is being said that the shipping number is between 28 and 32 million, which seems that Apple is going to hit the market hard again. Remember, iPhone 4 was sold more than 17 million in the last 4 months of 2010, and this is near the half of the total Apple’s sales at that time.
After this year, Apple is expected to continue its normal unveiling cycle, this means we may expect iPhone 6 in the 2012 June at WWDC.

Last November Rockmelt has released its cloud-based social media browser for PC and Mac, and now it’s just available for iPhone.
iPhone version of Rockmelt is looking pretty much different from the version of PC/Mac. In the first launch you have yo just log in to your Facebook, Twitter or whatever you are using. After than, it does not require to login again.
When you finished adding accounts, you can just browse the news like a feed reader, it automatically gather news, updates from you social media accounts and gather them on the home screen. All downloaded content can be viewed without an internet connection.
If you are using also PC/Mac version, since it is a cloud app, whatever you do on the iPhone version will automatically reflected to PC/Mac version, and vice versa. The another great thing is that you can get it free of charge!

Lately, new videos of white iPhone 4 , one of which released from Vietnamese Website Tinhte, suggests some interesting iOS features that has never been thought before.
A new multi-tasking menu with thumbnail images of all open applications is depicted in the video, which seems really cool and clearly shows that it is better than the current multi-tasking menu. A new feature which enables to adjust camera aperture from Settings is also suggested in another video.
We don’t know yet whether such suggestions will taken in advice by Apple or not. All we know is White iPhone 4 is expected to arrive sometime in Spring, which was also confirmed by reliable sources.
Apple executive Phil Schiller is one of those sources who twitted “A White iPhone is coming”.
Besides these talks, we had millions of rumors saying iPhone 5 will have A5 Dual-Core processor, 8 mega-pixel camera, and hardware supported 3G FaceTime video conferencing and NFC technology. Also it is said that iOS 5 will be based on Cloud services heavily. And all these will convert the iPhone 5 to modern Swiss army knife.
But as we stated in the previous posts, don’t expect iPhone 5 before Fall, but it is probable that white iPhone 4 may arrive in this Spring, and iPhone 6 will possibly released in Spring 2012.

Recently, it has been reported by many that the Apple is planning to mount an aluminum back cover for iPhone 5 and also it is known that iPhone will have dual core A5 processor. According to AppleInsider the mass production of iPhone 5 is expected to begin in September. As we discussed in our posts many times, iPhone 5 will probably have 8 mega-pixel camera, and a dual-mode chip. Another report from Ming-Chi Kuo of Concord Securities say iPhone 5 is going to have a better antenna, so Apple targets to increase the both signal and talk quality.
The quake in Japan may have postponed this mass production to late September, and this may be another reason why it won’t be in WWDC 2011.
Another strange rumor (originated from Kuo) suggest iPhone 6 in going be to demonstrated in the first half of 2012. I think this is too early, but Apple may be trying to compete with Android rain. So briefly, Apple is planning to release a new iPhone each year to struggle with another smart-phones in the market. Also Apple wants to add more countries to its global launch list. We should wait and see, while there is no iPhone 5 yet, the rumors have started to grow on iPhone 6.

Those went for Verizon iPhone 4 now seems more lucky than those of us who hopelessly wait for iPhone 5, if the iPhone won’t be coming this fall. Even if the Verizon iPhone 4 users can’t upgrade to iPhone 5 with advertised prices, they have at least 6 months of honey moon with iPhone 4.
Nobody won’t be regretting if the iPhone 5 will have a late launch, since the current LTE chips are nightmare on battery drainage, so much inefficient that Apple can’t use them in iPhone 5, so waiting for later gen of LTE chips will take care of this issue, also 4G networks become more broaden.
Also this Fall seems a perfect time of year to launch the mythic white iPhone 4 while the current iPhone 4 sales are still strong. Those who missed the era of iPhone 4 are fortunately can join, so the others who are waiting for iPhone 5 can take a breath since it won’t be appearing any time soon if white iPhone 4 arrives this fall.

Finally we might be seeing the White iPhone 4 in the stores within few weeks. And if the rumors are true, this is will be the most speculated launch. Because Apple didn’t release the White iPhone 4 for some reasons. However, this seems to be a bit late to launch such product just before the forthcoming iPhone 5. Sources say, the White iPhone 4 is going to be on the shelves beginning from 26th of April.
Also another source suggests that white iPhone 4 is launched with Apple’s latest firmware update iOS 5 and the White iPhone 4 will be launched within a few days, and this mean that all the rumors may be false, Another rumor is saying, the phone will be launched either by Verizon or AT&T. So we have to wait a little to see whether all the rumors are true or not.

iPhone 4 has caught a success in the sales and still selling in decent numbers, which might be translated into a prolonged selling period. Which contradicts with the rumors saying iPhone 5 will be released this summer. According to an interview with DigiTimes, Apple’s partners didn’t receive any information regarding the production of iPhone 5. So this means that still there is not any signed contract between Apple and its suppliers and Apple didn’t send any written information to its partners. Touch Screen makers from Taiwan claimed that no road map has been annunciated by Apple, and currently iPhone 4 shipments continues, which means that suppliers aren’t ready to move to a new production line for iPhone 5.
Rumors saying iPhone 5 will have a brand new design and many of the components inside will be changed, are not still approved or at least became any clearer. Additionally, it is said that Apple hasn’t solved all the technical design issues and so we might better be expecting upcoming iPhone 5 later in this year, or in the beginning of 2012. Apple didn’t make any official announce regarding probable delay and they have their own reasons for that, one is that they didn’t want to wreck the current iPhone 4 sales and the other one is that iPhone 4 has just been available for Verizon users. However, customers expecting an answer from Apple are increasing in numbers.
