Folks, a fresh news about release date of iPhone 5 says that Apple won’t be starting to ship iPhone 5 before the end of 2011 or even before the end of 2012. On the other hand, Apple is targeting the lower end smart phone market, so ready to launch a low cost and low spec iPhone.

Also Some important iPhone component supplier from Asia stated that iPhone 5 production will not be starting before September. This statement is fully consistent with what Avian findings told about the supply chain stated last months. Also the supplier stated that a lower price/lower spec iPhone to come in the market. However they do not give a date about this lower spec iPhone.

Briefly, if we sum up all these rumors with the previous ones, we believe the launch date for iPhone is somewhere between late2011 and early 2012.

Recently, Apple was applying for new patents (E-Ink and Retina Display Hybrid), and some of them were published on the net, which were very interesting, though not probable. E-Ink and Retina Display Hybrid are thought to be used in the iPhone 5 and iPad 3.

The latter one is about switching between LCD and e-Paper display. The screen is said to be smart, so it can divide itself into the groups according to the content user browsing. For instance, an image displayed through Retina Display and text based contents are displayed through E-Ink.

They stay as conceptual works for now, maybe we could see such features after iPhone 5 and iPad 3. However Apple can still surprise us.

While iPhone 5 release date is approaching, or at least the rumors are finally cut off, we can just wait for it. AT&T should continue to offer iPhone with acceptable prices and increased network quality if it wants to retain its growth. iPhone is the essential component in its growth, but for the sake of variation, it should also offer a broad-range of Android based phones. But it must be remembered that How Droid wasn’t enough for Verizon to compete.

Verizon should broaden its 4G network and continue to advertise about 4G networking, since it is more associated with 4G than any other carrier. If iPhone 5 is to launch with 4G support, this becomes a serious advantage to balance the score. Since many of the Verizon customers decided to wait for iPhone 5 , because of the late launch of iPhone 4.

Albeit the ridiculous explanations, saying iPhone isn’t coming to the carrier, customers are pretty sure that after being sold to AT&T, T-Mobile will offer iPhone sooner or later.
